Update news on the 25th May 2010 a family of Orcas were seen off the shores off Shapinsay and uploaded photos to our gallery page hope you enjoy them , have always wanted to see them and now I can say I have .they were a family of  4 , great sight to see.

Last week a Corncrake was heard in one of our fields ,  alas not been heard again ,but will keep you updated .

Not forgetting at breakfast time we have local eggs from Nancy's Hens. Local kippers and natural smoked haddock,as well as lobbans haggis,black pudding and beef sausage.
